Overview

Ladakh is a place in the northernmost part of India and extends from Siachen glacier in the Karakoram ranges to the Great Himalayas in the South. The tour to Amazing Ladakh will take you through some amazing places and is bound to give you a mind-boggling experience. You will experience some of the most gorgeous lakes, cliffs, high mountain passes, long empty roads and valleys in this amazing tour of 7 nights.

The places that you will visit in Amazing Ladakh include the famous Pangong Lake, the stunningly beautiful Leh, Zanskar Valley, Nubra Valley, Khardung La Pass and a number of age-old Buddhist monasteries that falls along the way. The Hemis National Park located forty kilometres southeast of Leh is a stunning place to experience. Lying over an area of about 600 square kilometres, it is the home to some uncommon species like Bharal and the Snow leopard. A museum is also situated at Leh, known as the Hall of Fame. This museum records the heroics of the Indian army. 

You can also take part in trekking activities across the Markha valley. After exploring the town of Leh and the beautiful tourist locations, you can surely go out for an amazing and adventurous trekking trip. The Indus River originating from Mount Kailash runs across Ladakh and you can opt for rafting in the river. You can also go for a camel safari in the Nubra valley. A trip to Amazing Ladakh is full of surprises and you can create memories that you will relish lifelong.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrived in Leh in the morning and transferred to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 meters).Later, in the evening by walking visit Shanti Stupa or Leh Local Market. 

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we take you for a tour of the hall of fame, gurudwara pathar sahib, magnetic hill, kali temple and sangam. At sangam you can enjoy rafting on the zanskar river. Hall of fame is a must visit for every patriotic indian. It was built by the Indian army in memory of soldiers who lost their lives in the Kargil war. Return to leh in the afternoon. Gurdwara Pathar sahib located at a distance of 40 kms from leh, was constructed in 1571, in memory of guru nanak to commemorate his visit to this region. Magnetic hill is the place where you will see your car, with its engine turned off, move upwards on a steep slope. It almost sounds unbelievable. The sangam is the place called nimu where the zanskar river and indus rivers merge. In the evening come back to leh. Overnight hotel.

Day 3

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, also known as Valley of flowers via Khardungla, the highest motorable road in the World, (18,380 ft). On your arrival in Nubra Valley check in the hotel/camp After a sumptuous lunch take a walk on the banks of Shayok river, you can also enjoy a ride on double humped camels on the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village, by own.

Day 4

After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, drive of 6 –7 Hrs. Arrival at Camp, Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. 

Day 5

Early morning enjoy the picturesque view of the Sun rise on the lake. After Breakfast drive back to Leh. Day Free for Leisure Evening by Walk visit Leh Market for Shopping(Own Cost)

Day 6

After breakfast proceed for a sightseeing tour to Shey Palace, Thiksey & Hemis monasteries, Stok Palace Museum and Sindhu Ghat. 

Day 7

  • Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home. Tour ends with beautiful memories.
