Overview

The Char Dham Yatra is a four Hindu sanctum in Indian Himalayas is a standout amongst the most visited pilgrimage in northern India. Itinerary

Day 1

  • Morning from Delhi drive to Haridwar, evening on arrival check-in to the hotel. 
  • Overnight stay.
  • Meal: Dinner
Day 2

  • Post breakfast drive to Barkot, afternoon on arrival check in to the camp. Half day free for relaxation 
  • Overnight stay in Barkot.
  • Meal: Breakfast + Dinner
Day 3

  • Early morning post breakfast drive to Janki Chatti (starting point of the trek.
  • Trek for 6 Kms to reach Yamunotri - one of the four holy sanctums of Uttrakhand and likewise the source of the Yamuna river. Visit the Yamunotri sanctuary (devoted to goddess Yamuna worked by ruler Gularia of Jaipur Suryakund (has a temperature of 190-degree F, travellers tie rice and potatoes in a muslin material and inundate it in the water to be cooked), Divya Shila, a stone column, revered before entering the Yamunotri sanctuary.
  • Trek back to Jankichatti and transfer back to Barkot for overnight stay.

Day 4

  • Post breakfast drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival at Uttarkashi check-in the Shikhar Nature resort. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi. 
  • Meal: Breakfast + Dinner
Day 5

  • Early morning day excursion to Gangotri. Upon arrival visit Gangotri temple. Post-visit drive back to Uttarkashi for overnight stay. 
  • GANGOTRI DHAM: The eighteenth-century sanctuary is unobtrusive rock structure originally worked in the eighteenth century and reconstructed by the Maharaja of Jaipur. Hindus trust that goddess Ganga was conveyed sensible by the fanciful lord Bhagirathi additionally the Ganga is accepted to contain "Amrit" sacred nectar and is said to rinse one all things considered.

Day 6

Day 7

  • Post breakfast drive to Gaurikund, from here starts your trek to Kedarnath.  Upon arrival at Kedarnath visit Kedarnath temple.
  • Overnight stay in the guest house.
  • Gaurikund: At a separation of 5kms from Sonprayag and at a height of 1982 meters. One can scrub down in the high temp water lake here and visit the Gauri Temple. This is where Goddess Parvathi pondered to accomplish Lord Shiva. It is the base for a trek to Kedarnath.
  • Kedarnath: The Kedarnath temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a picturesque spot arranged, against the background of the glorious Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva, the defender and the destroyer. As per legend, the Pandavas in the wake of having prevailed upon the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war felt regretful of having executed their own siblings and looked for the favours of Lord Shiva for recovery. Day 8

  • Post breakfast trek down to Gaurikund and drive to Rudraprayag. Upon arrival at Rudraprayag check in the hotel. 
  • Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 9

  • Post breakfast drive to Badrinath, on arrival at Badrinath, check in to the hotel and you can also visit Badrinath temple if time permits. 
  • Overnight stay in a hotel.
  • Badrinath one of the 'Four Dhams' is a standout amongst the most commended journey spots of the nation and is arranged at a height of 3,133 meters, monitored on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar and Narayan with the transcending Neelkanth Peak giving an amazing setting. This respected spot was once covered with wild berries. Consequently, the spot got the name "Badri van", signifying "woodland of berries".

Day 10

  • Early morning visit Badrinath temple for Maha Abhishek puja. Post breakfast drive to Rishikesh. En-route at Devprayag, take a short photo stop of its magnificent confluence view of Bahagirathi&Alaknanda. 
  • On arrival at Rishikesh, check in to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at Rishikesh 
  • DEVPRAYAG: The community of Devprayag at the conversion of stream Alaknanda and Bhagirathi, from this intersection point onwards, the new stream is called as Ganga. Prior to this point, Bhagirathi is considered Ganga. The spot is of high religious significance, as Ganga takes it genuine structure here. The town is named after a sage Dev Sharma, who lived here and thought. He is said to have been honoured with a look at god. Devprayag is a famous goal for Hindu explorers. Religious ablutions happen at two bowls uncovered in the stone at the intersection of the sacred streams. One on the Bhagirathi known as the Brahm Kund and the other on the Alaknanda called VashisthKund.

Day 11

  • Post breakfast checks out from the hotel and drives to Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi, transfer to Railway station/ airport for onward destination.
