Rajgarh is a city and a tehsil in Alwar area in the Indian territory of Rajasthan. It is a residential area set in beautiful slopes specked with strongholds, and highlights cascades, a valley, and the slopes of Aravalli. Rajgarh has the tomb of the dad of celebrated Urdu Poet Mirza Ghalib inside town limits. Rajgarh Tehsil contains the noteworthy town of Rajore, now called Rajorgarh, where an engraving was  found of Matthandeva of Gurjara-Pratihara genealogy, dated to 960 AD. This is the main known engraving containing the expressions "badgurjara rajputs"  and "Pratihara rajputs" together to portray the heredity.
